We get lots of questions about Sadie so we decided to create a special link for those who want to know a little more about her.

Sadie is an AKC registered purebred Rottweiler whose lineage goes back several generations (7 that we know of) with a couple of championship titles within her ancestry. Sadie was born on April 25, 2005 and registered with the AKC as "Saedance Von Beam Shiflet", or "Sadie" for short.

If you have any mixed feelings about the Rottweiler breed she may well change your mind. She is extremely well trained, very obedient for being so young, and knows several tricks that she loves to perform for a crowd (and a treat of course).

At home, Sadie lives just to please. The kids often take naps on her in front of the TV and she rarely leaves site of her family. She enjoys the water, chasing squirrels, and running at the Sawyer Dog Park. More information about the Sawyer Dog Park is available here.

I fully credit my sister Kelly and her dog Nox for showing me what a dog could be with time, patience and training. Until then, I had no idea how enjoyable a well-trained dog could be.
