This is also a good time to re-apply any pre-emergent products such "Snapshot" to your flowerbeds. The first application of this product is usually performed during the spring season. Pre-emergents are remain effective for approximately 90 days and therefore need to be re-applied periodically throughout the year. They function by preventing seed germination from any treated areas.
